All requests will be evaluated by staff.  If your event seems organized, Equity Foundation will likely sponsor and attend the event.  Please do not submit a General Grant Cycle application for a pride event.

What qualifies for Gay Pride event sponsorship?

A traditional gay pride festival and/or parade qualifies.  Equity Foundation understands that in some communities–geographic or otherwise–a festival or parade may not be feasible.  That is why requests will be evaluated on a case by case basis.  Equity Foundation will give preference to events that focus on and celebrate the local LGBTQ community and not necessarily events that are simply inclusive of LGBTQ people.  Sponsorships will range from $100 to $1,500.
