(Portland, OR) – PQ Monthly is partnering with Equity Foundation as the exclusive media sponsor for the foundation’s BENT event to be held on October 27.  Tickets can be purchased here.

Jane Lynch, star of TV’s Glee, is the Honorary Chair of BENT. Though she cannot attend, Lynch, an openly gay actress and avid supporter of LGBT causes, still supports the foundation and the event. She is promoting BENT to help make the event a success. The evening will start off with a cabaret of local performers and end with a dance party with music by DJ Christopher B. There will also be a costume competition with a $500 cash prize for the winner.

BENT is going to be a great event,” says Carl Creasey, Chair of Equity Foundation’s Board of Directors, “ and there will be many opportunities to support Equity Foundation throughout the evening. We are so excited to have Jane Lynch as our Honorary Chair this year because she believes in our scholarship program to support LGBT youth.”

BENT will be at the Leftbank Annex with the cabaret beginning at 6:30PM and the dance party starting at 9PM. The next 100 tickets sold are half off due to a donor making a contribution to cover the other half.  Ordinarily, tickets for the cabaret and dance party are $150, and $50 for the dance party alone. Current sponsors include PQ Monthly, Drink – Think, Trillium Asset Management, Morel Ink, Absolut, Eyes on Broadway, Square Orbit Landscaping, The Standard and LeAnn Locher & Associates.
