Equity Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2014-2015 school year. We offer scholarships for students who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgeder (LGBT) or the children of LGBT parents, who reside in Oregon or SW Washington, and are in need of financial assistance.
Equity is proud to host some of Oregon’s longest standing scholarships. Our scholarship program is supported by members of the LGBT and allied community who are committed to assisting students of all ages fund their education. Our scholarships support students with a variety of interests and backgrounds, such as activists working to advance LGBT rights, students majoring in fine arts and humanities, and LGBT adults who have gone back to school.
The deadline for the majority of our scholarships has passed, but we are still accepting applications for the Pride of the Rose Scholarship Fund, for members of the LGBT community and their children who are pursuing their education beyond the secondary level. Applications are due July 31, 2014.
